NELA/NY Legislative Advocacy

The Legislative Committee promotes NELA/NY's legislative agenda in protecting and improving the New York State Human Rights Laws and protecting low wage workers. The Legislative Committee also monitors federal and state employment and civil rights related legislation and issues legal memoranda of support where bills would advance NELA/NY's goals of a fair workplace.
